Nine people arrested in connection with sexual assault

Nine alleged sexual aggressors, including these two women and two minors under the age of 15 and 17, were arrested this Thursday, September 29, by the National Police through the Directorate of Judicial Investigation through a series of operational actions that made it possible to locate and apprehend these people.

The search and capture operations were carried out in the provinces of Coclé, Veraguas, Chiriquí and the corregimientos in Panama such as San Francisco, Pedregal, Juan Díaz, Las Cumbes and the district of San Miguelito.

The authorities indicated that the two women detained among the group of sexual aggressors correspond to a foreign citizen located in San Francisco who worked as a nanny when the events occurred to the detriment of an infant and the other was detained in the province of Chiriquí for being an accomplice of the rape of his own sister.

Among the modalities by which these people were apprehended are rape, libidinous acts and corruption of minors, where the victims range in age from 1 to 13 years.
