Nicolás Maduro sent his greeting message to the National Armed Forces this Sunday, December 28, from the state of La Guaira. From there he assured: «We are finishing a perfect year 2025. On all battle fronts we are victorious, advancing, with plans.
However, he condemned the actions of the United States against the country, using metaphors that compare the times of Christ with the present: “Attempting to use threats like Goliath did against a noble and peaceful, but warlike, people, like the people of Venezuela, is a crime,” he said.
He added that if Jesus Christ were physically in this nation he would disapprove of military threats, the use of force and threats against Venezuelans.
“Venezuela has been threatened by Goliath for 27 weeks,” said Maduro, but reiterated that the FAN is “more prepared than ever to continue winning peace and sovereignty with territorial integrity for all our people.”
Nicolás Maduro added that 2026 is the year of the admirable challenge in Bolívar to take a big leap and “free the country from 100% oil independence, from the vestiges of poverty that exists, to free our people from psychological warfare 100% and consolidate public education with the best public schools, high schools and universities, to consolidate the new health system recovering 100%.”
