The revolutionary project is deeply humanist, since the Venezuelan people are “warriors of the human cause, of the cause of peace,” said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
In this sense, during a telephone contact with the closing ceremony of the Ayacucho International Colloquium 1824-2024 Unity, Sovereignty and Peace, he highlighted that humanitarian law, international law for war was born in Trujillo and Ayacucho with our independence struggles.
“In Trujillo and Ayacucho the humanitarian law of war was born, because we must not forget that our project is humanist, invariably and profoundly. We are warriors like in Ayacucho, Carabobo and Junín: let no one confuse!”, he highlighted.
Likewise, Maduro highlighted that our Liberator’s idea of building a large block of nations that have strength is fully in force.
“The dreams of our liberators are fully in force. What Bolívar did was collect the best of his time and project it for future centuries. “He was a man of ideas, words and action, a great builder,” said the Head of State.
In this sense, he highlighted that the message of our liberators in Ayacucho is current today and pushes “the wonderful idea of convening a great amphictyonic congress to form a large block of forces.”
In this sense, Maduro instructed the president of the Rómulo Gallegos Center for Latin American Studies (CELARG), Pedro Calzadilla, to make “a great communication effort” to publish all the presentations and interventions that were given in the historical colloquium so that they can be carried to study centers, communities, military academies, so that the people know them and discuss them.
