The minister attributed the increase in infections to the circulation of new variants such as the BA.2 of ómicronwhich turns out to be much more contagious than the original strain, so the best way to prevent it is to get vaccinated.
“With these new variants, from the omicron to here, what we used to achieve with two doses, now we achieve with three doses, it is important that everyone give it to them,” Kreplak said.
