The Government of Spain, together with the Residencia de Estudiantes, announced a new scholarship program Aimed at young Nicaraguans and professionals of other nationalities, this program, developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, seeks to support and promote higher education among professionals in the Iberian country.
A total of six scholarships will be awarded to study various master’s degrees, including science and art. The full scholarships will last 12 months and are aimed at Postgraduate Students in the different areas of Social Sciences, Humanities, Natural Sciences and Technology.
The scholarships cover students’ basic expenses including health, security and transportation throughout the year. Of the six scholarships, one is intended for students with disabilities with a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33%.
Requirements

- Be Spanish or from some Iberian-American country (Nicaragua is part of it)
- Possess an official university degree of Bachelor
- Submit a report on the work you wish to do for the scholarship
- Under 30 years old
- Taxes and social security up to date
- Not receiving any financial aid to cover the scholarship
- First time applicant
To access the application form, applicants must download the format from the website www.residencia.csic.es and accompany the document with an ID, university degree, a letter explaining the reasons why you are applying for the scholarship and the endorsement of an educator for the project presented.
Applicants will have until October 23, 2024 to submit their applications online or by mail. If selected, applicants will receive an email confirming that they have received the scholarship. The scholarship begins on December 15, 2024 and ends on December 15, 2025.
