Daniel Ortega’s regime prohibited entry to Nicaragua to American pastors Tom Y Debbie GuessOn Thursday, April 21, both arrived at the Augusto C. Sandino Airport, but were prevented from entering and without any legal explanation they were returned on a flight to Miami.
It should be noted that in 2019, the Christian couple entered Nicaragua without any problem and were received even by the same Police at the service of the dictatorship.
In an interview with the media outlet 100% Noticias, Guess explained that they arrived in Nicaragua at four in the afternoon, “we proceeded to the immigration area and presented our passports. Immigration pulled our information on the computer and for some reason, they flagged us.”

He added that the airport authorities proceeded to ask them many questions “they took our passports and entered their office. He emphasized that from 5 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. they were in a private room with the promise that they would be interviewed by an official.
“We had no idea what was going on. We had to ask for water. We had to ask permission to go to the bathroom. We were told to completely turn off our phones or they would be confiscated. That’s why we couldn’t communicate with anyone,” they stated. After being held for three hours, they were informed that they had to return to their country.
“We were stunned. We ask for a reason; we received no explanation. We were escorted directly to the plane by two security agents. The airline held our passports on the plane until we arrived in Miami,” the pastor said.
“Even the earth and the sky in Nicaragua are trembling”
On Saturday, the 23rd of this month, the pastors wrote on the Facebook page Prophetic Revivalists a message for Nicaragua with the title “Even the earth and the sky in Nicaragua are trembling.”
The Christian couple’s message states that “this is what the Lord says today: Nicaragua is trembling. There is a “great shaking” taking place in the nation of Nicaragua. I’m shaking. I will increase the tremor. It will continue to accelerate and intensify. Why? Because the enemy of rebirth is losing its control. The walls of resistance are falling.”

“You have even experienced in the last few days your earth and sky shaking. Shaking in the earthquake. Lightning in the sky. It’s me! Before heaven comes down, all hell breaks loose. It’s like a collision between two worlds. The sky invading Nicaragua”, they emphasize.
The preachers held that everything that is happening is a sign. “A sign for the church to come in and pray like never before. Elijah saw the rain cloud before it rained. Pray, pray, pray! Believe, believe, believe!”
Tom Y Debbie Guess they concluded that God is coming to pour out his Spirit in Nicaragua. “It can’t be stopped, no leader can stop it, no government can stop it, no religious spirit can stop it, no Jezebel can stop it, no tradition can stop it, no denomination can stop it, no pastor can stop it. The gates of hell will not prevail against him.”
Although the “arguments” that the Ortega dictatorship had for not allowing Christian marriage to enter are unknown, the action of the Nicaraguan authorities comes in a month that commemorates four years of the civic rebellion of 2018 and where exile has prevailed to Nicaraguans themselves or the withdrawal of passports-
Regime approved of prophets
It should be noted that in 2019, the regime was pleased with the “prophetic and blessing words for the people of Nicaragua.” In a note published by the propagandist El 19 Digital they highlighted the message of Tom Guess.
“The North American Pastors Tom Y Debbie Guess published on their Facebook account this Saturday, May 25, prophetic words of blessing for the people of Nicaragua, decreeing, declaring and prophesying based on the word of God, the Bible, shaking Nicaragua from the dust, condemnations, negativity and disbelief in the mighty name of Jesus,” read the letter.
On April 9 of the same 2019, the Police at the service of Daniel Ortega also welcomed the arrival and message of the religious who now rejected.
“Commissioner General Xavier Dávila, Secretary General of the National Police Headquarters on behalf of the National Police Headquarters, together with the police and civil personnel of the central headquarters, held a meeting of reflection and prayer with the Ppofetas Tom Guess and Debbie do Guess, from the Destiny Ministry who conveyed a message of peace and hope for the police officers,” the police institution reported.

The Ortega regime has intensified its repression. Until now, it has expelled Nicaraguan musicians from the country, it does not allow others to enter and it keeps more than 170 political opponents imprisoned.
