The Nicaraguan administration continues to nationalize foreigners. On The Gazette No. 61 This Wednesday, March 30, there is information about a writer and journalist from Cuba and a man originally from Palestine who were granted this benefit by the Migration Directorate.
According to the publication, Teresita Candía Ferreyra, originally from Cuba; and the Palestinian Mohammad Nael Naim Alsawaleha, legally they are also Nicaraguans. The General Directorate of Migration and Immigration of the Ministry of the Interior granted nationality to both citizens for having “fulfilled the formalities” for said benefit.
According to Migob certification number 3305, published in La Gaceta, the Cuban writer was nationalized for being a resident and remaining in the country since May 6, 2010, continuously and uninterruptedly; and have a “link of affinity with a Nicaraguan citizen.”
