Nicaraguan regime imprisons the “eternal” spokesperson of the CSJ, Roberto Larios

Lawyers denounced the arrest of the spokesman for the Supreme Court of Justice of Nicaragua (CSJ), Roberto Larios. According to information on social media, the state worker was arrested in the early hours of Saturday, October 15, at his home and transferred to the Judicial Assistance Directorate (DAJ) in Managua, known as “El Nuevo Chipote.”

Although so far the causes of Larios’s arrest are officially unknown, according to the digital media 100% Noticias, the arrest originated after he made comments “about the mistreatment received by political prisoners in the prisons of the dictatorship.”

The also journalist and lawyer had spent more than 20 years in the spokesman for the highest court.

After learning of the arrest of Larios, it has been reported that there is a “division” in the CSJ regarding the judicial processes against opponents.
