Nicaraguan bishop Rolando Álvarez was detained by the police in the Archbishop’s Curia of Matagalpa, in northern Nicaragua, and was transferred to Managua where he was sentenced to house arrest. Another 7 people who accompanied him, including 4 priests, were transferred to prison.
