According to the report presented by the security entity, on the morning of Wednesday, May 15, a patrol that was guarding the Iván Montenegro Market, in Managua, captured the suspect on a public street, who has a history of “homicide” crimes. tempted and aggravated.

Subsequently, in coordination with the INTERPOL Central Office in Central America, based in San Salvador, Nicaraguan officers handed over the alleged criminal to the Salvadoran authorities.

According to Salvadoran media, MS-13 “is a predatory criminal organization that fundamentally lives off extortion.”

However, this and other Salvadoran gangs have been subjected to the “exception regime” imposed by the president of that country, Nayib Bukelesince two years ago.

According to the data update presented by the government, 79,947 people were classified as “terrorists” and more than 90% remain in prison without a court ruling against them. The Bukele government has acknowledged that it has had to release some 7,000 detainees due to lack of evidence against them.
