Colorado deputy Nibia Reisch is not surprised by the result of her party’s election. Ojeda wagered on a campaign on all the networks, as Juan Sartori did when he broke into the National Party.
The Colorado ticket is completed by Robert Silva as vice president, the leader of his sector, who is nominated for that position for the second time.
“Although he is a formula for renewal in the Colorado Party, Andrés has many years of militancy, even in the last election, when I was a candidate for mayor, he came to support me. Robert (Silva) has also been a militant since he was very young and has held technical positions.
“We have a government program, proposals and we are going to enrich the party,” the deputy for the department of Colonia told EL ECO.
“I remember that when (Rafael) Michelini was a candidate, people voted for him because he was handsome. Well, now sometimes there are candidates who vote for him because he is handsome or because he is young, because he is patriotic. In other words, there is a wider range of options to define the vote than before.”
After the internal election, Nibia revealed that she got up “at 5 in the morning” on Monday, July 1, to begin her agenda for the day. The first thing she did was attend the ceremony at the Police Headquarters for the inauguration of 50 new officers. “Everyone told me: ‘Nibia, you are the only one who is not resting, it is because my work continues.’”
Reisch will once again be a candidate for deputy. She argues that she has achieved “many good things for the department” and that she “is fighting to continue implementing initiatives in what remains of this period. We have worked with absolute honesty and transparency. We have experience and we are working with young people, for when they have to occupy government positions in the future.”
