Today, Airbnb introduces Iconics, a new category of incredible experiences brought to you by greats in music, film, television, art, sports, and more. Iconicos allows you to enter worlds that you only dreamed of before. High altitude adventure at Up’s house. Spend the night at the Ferrari Museum. Spend time with Kevin Hart. Today Airbnb presents the first 11 Iconic on Airbnb, with new experiences to be introduced around the world throughout the year.

With Iconicos we have created the most extraordinary experiences on Earth.
These are the first 11 Iconics that Airbnb presents:
- High altitude adventure in Up’s house: Sleep inside one of Disney and Pixar’s most iconic houses, and yes, it floats. You’ll explore Carl’s world in this recreation of his house with over 8,000 balloons; is located in the picturesque rocky and reddish landscape of Abiquiú, in New Mexico.
- Spend the night at the Ferrari Museum: Get up close and personal with the world of racing thanks to a stay at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, Italy. You’ll sleep in a bed made of the same leather as Ferrari seats, take a ride with Scuderia Ferrari ambassador driver Marc Gené, and attend the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix as a VIP guest.
- Enter the world of the X-Men ’97– Live as the X-Men in a 2D animated recreation of the X-Mansion Marvel Animation in Westchester, New York. You will discover your mutant abilities and can even train in the Danger Room.
- VIP night with Kevin Hart: enter with him to the Coramino Live Lounge, as if you were a VIP member, and experience an exceptional night. You can enjoy a tequila tasting with Kevin and his friends and you will also see live performances by the best comedians of the moment.
- Wake up at the Orsay Museum– Enjoy staying in the iconic clock room of the art museum in Paris, transformed into a luxurious bedroom by Mathieu Lehanneur, the designer of the Paris 2024 Games torch and cauldron. From the terrace, you will witness the historic Opening ceremony of the Olympic Games on the bank of the Seine River.
- Join a session in a room with Doja Cat: After a tour of the largest stages in the world, Doja invites you to a much more intimate experience. You will enjoy an unforgettable performance in a room with the Grammy-winning artist, this includes her songs and her favorite songs from her latest album.
- stay at home purple rain of Prince: Although Prince bought the Minneapolis house from the legendary movie purple rain, had never been open to the public… until now! Explore the house and go crazy listening to special tracks from the world of Prince in an exclusive studio session.
- Play with Khaby Lame– TikTok star Khaby Lame invites you to his hometown of Milan for an epic overnight gaming experience. You will stay in a one-of-a-kind gaming loft, the same one that Khaby designed, where you can live the #learndekhaby experience and face him in a Fortnite Battle Royale.
- Go on tour with Feid– Join the reggaeton superstar on his week-long FERXXOCALIPSIS world tour. You’ll participate in rehearsals with the team, ride the tour bus, and have backstage access to each concert.
- Step into Janhvi Kapoor’s shoes: The Bollywood star invites you to the legendary and never-before-seen Kapoor family home in Chennai, India. From learning her beauty secrets to tasting her favorite South Indian dishes, Janhvi will personally welcome you on this dream night.
- Create unforgettable memories with Inside Out 2– Ahead of the June 14 release of Disney and Pixar’s new movie, Inside Out 2, you’re invited to spend a night at Headquarters, Riley’s emotional control center. Alegría, your host, will welcome you into her vibrant world so you can witness the emotions and help her maintain balance.
Iconics have their own category on the Airbnb homepage. Most Iconics are free and all are priced under $100 USD per guest. A countdown shows the time until each guest’s call opens and guests can request participation for the reservation through the app. Lucky guests who are selected will receive a digital golden ticket. More than 4,000 golden tickets will be available in 2024.
New features for group trips
More than 80% of Airbnb reservations are group trips, but the app was not designed for them. That’s why Airbnb is introducing new features that make planning this type of trip easier than ever:
- Shared Favorites Lists– Now you can easily share your favorites with others on your trip, inviting them to add accommodations, write notes, and vote on listings. When you share listings with other people, the app creates a favorites list of these listings.
- New Communications tab– The redesigned Communications tab now allows everyone on the trip to send messages to the host via a group. The simplified layout consolidates all messages from guests, hosts, and customer support messages in one place, making messages easy to search. Reactions allow guests and hosts to respond with emojis, and quick responses suggested by artificial intelligence help hosts instantly answer frequently asked questions.
- travel invitations– Once you’ve booked a trip, you can invite others to join the trip through digital postcards of your destination, illustrated by artists from around the world. Everyone joining the trip will receive full reservation details, including full address, Wi-Fi password, and check-in instructions. check-in.
Host Enhancements
The May 2024 News also includes improvements for hosts based on their feedback. Airbnb expanded the revenue dashboard with interactive performance charts and automatic revenue reporting. The now updated Listings tab gives hosts more control when creating and editing a photo tour to showcase their spaces. Additionally, Airbnb added an easy way to quickly switch from host to guest mode within the app.

The Iconic category and new group travel features are available starting today. Host upgrades are also available today when you sign up for Early Access in the Airbnb app.
