From that moment, the police began an exhaustive investigation that led to the surprising revelation that AL, who had worked as a correspondent for a local media outlet and had become politically involved with the National Party, was involved in this scandalous episode..
The first clues came from security cameras, which captured the thieves fleeing in a grey Nissan vehicle. After a thorough investigation, AL was identified along with individuals named YN and SG, the latter a 55-year-old restaurant entrepreneur.
On August 3, police raided SG’s home and business, where they found compelling evidence, including $20,000 and other items linked to the crime.
The events did not stop there. Two days later, it was AL’s turn, whose home was raided on August 5. In this operation, the authorities also They recovered 20 thousand dollars.
It was at that time that AL was arrested and subsequently charged before the 4th Court of First Instance. Her situation became even more complicated when a nightly house arrest from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. for 90 days was ordered.
