In the Auditorium of the Experimental National University of the Western Plains “Ezequiel Zamora” (Unellez) San Carlos nucleus, the deputy and vice president of the National Assembly, Iris Varela, recently appointed as political liaison of Cojedes by the United Socialist Party, was received from Venezuela.
Some 1,300 people attended the massive meeting, where, Varela said, they tried to review, recognize and propose the strategic lines of the red awning in the entity, to recognize the leadership and advance in the construction of new victories in Cojedo territory.
In this sense, the new political head of the PSUV, expressed that they are in a national deployment to reactivate political work and direct the party’s structures in Cojedes, for which the entity will remain for a season “to provide the expected results.”
Varela announced that production will be organized in Cojedes, for which he directed during the meeting to review works, spaces and companies that are paralyzed and unproductive to evaluate the possibilities of starting production.
Deputies, councilmen, Bolivarian mayors, territorial and sectoral delegates of the PSUV and the Jpsuv, were present to debate and articulate topics of interest.
“Soon we will be making the presence of the PSUV felt in the state of Cojedes (…) We come here to work for unity. We are summoning all the PSUV militancy and some factors that have played divisionism to locate themselves where they belong because here what comes from now on is the patriotic unity to win », he indicated.
The deputy also announced that they will remain deployed throughout the Cojedes state, starting this Saturday, June 4, in the Girardot and Pao municipalities.
“We will be doing a tour. Assemblies to carry our message, to coordinate forces, organize teams and prepare for victory with President Nicolás Maduro in the 2024 presidential elections,” Varela said.
During the meeting, the Political Council of the Party for the state of Cojedes was formed, made up of militants with extensive experience and who for years have been at the forefront of the PSUV ranks.

Juan Bautista Pérez, Norelis Chávez, Rafael Alemán, Jose Pimentel and Luis Yoyotte, were some of the names mentioned for the task of guiding the party’s political processes in the plains entity from experience.
The design of a productive economic strategic plan for Cojedes was one of the lines highlighted during this meeting, emphasizing that it is the way to achieve the total economic independence of the PSUV in the nine municipalities.
Likewise, the 3R.Nets will be applied with the militancy from the bases.

Juan Bautista Pérez, constituent of the year 1999, expressed his satisfaction with the reconstruction of the PSUV from the bases.
“It is an advance to reconquer the power that belongs to the revolution and not to the sectors that today want to govern the state by going back to the past and we are not going to allow that,” he said.
Pérez expressed that at 71 years old he still feels committed to following the revolutionary political path.
«We continue to firmly believe in the revolution and that we must continue working in favor of vindicating the people. With the sword of Bolívar that is there, we will not rest in working with the thought of Commander Chávez, the Bolivarian thought and alongside President Nicolás Maduro”, closed the PSUV militant.
