Process and requirements for change of plates
The plaque replacement process is part of the 3×1 package and has no additional cost for motorists.
Steps to perform the procedure:
- Make the payment of the $ 900 vehicular endorsement in Refrendo.jalisco.gob.mx.
- Agend and complete the responsible verification.
- Schedule an appointment for plates substitution in sefinenlinea.jalisco.gob.mx.
Requirements to collect new plates
- Verification certificate (approved or not).
- Previous plates.
- Proof of address.
- Official identification.
Availability and designs of the new plates
The ‘Cabañas’ design will be available during February, while the rest of the 2025 will be used for renewal with both models. It is mandatory to go to vehicular verification to access the new plates, regardless of the test result.
