As of January 7, 2025, the new Pico y Placa regulations will come into effect in Bucaramanga.
The Bucaramanga Transit Directorate announced the new rotation of the Peak and Plate that will apply in 2025 for private vehicles and motorcycles.
According to the Resolution 790 of 2024the measure will come into force on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 and will govern during the first quarter as a strategy to regulate traffic. Furthermore, the authorities highlighted that this regulation also fulfills an environmental function aimed at air protection.

Rotation of the Peak and Plate in Bucaramanga in 2025
Digit rotation for Peak and Plate in Bucaramanga it will be the following:
- Monday: plates ending in 9 and 0.
- Tuesday: plates ending in 1 and 2.
- Wednesday: plates ending in 3 and 4.
- Thursday: plates ending in 5 and 6.
- Friday: plates ending in 7 and 8.
The saturdays The measure will continue as usual. For example, the January 11 Vehicles with license plates ending in 3 and 4while the January 16 will apply to plates finished in 5 and 6following this scheme successively.
The restriction hours will be 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and on Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
