The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) authorized the transfer of S/ 108.7 million to the Mivivienda Fund, in order to finance the disbursement of the Good Payer Bonus (BBP) of the New Mivivienda Credit until the end of the year. With these resources, up to 5,054 bonuses can be awarded, but can I lose this benefit if I make prepayments?
It should be noted that this subsidy is aimed at middle-income people with a good credit history and who access the New Mivivienda Credit.
How much is the Good Payer Bonus?
One of the great benefits of this credit is the Good Payer Bonus (BBP) that ranges from S/ 10,800 to S/ 25,700. The Peruvian State provides this economic aid for the payment of the initial fee.

In addition, if the beneficiary decides to acquire an eco-sustainable home, they are granted the Sustainable Mivivienda Bonus, whose current value is S/ 5,400 and allows them to pay a higher initial fee for the purchase of the property, since it is added to the Good Payer Bonus.
Can I make prepayments without losing the Good Payer Bonus?
According to the Mivivienda Fund, people can make prepayments of their mortgage loan, but they must take into account that if they make the total cancellation before five years, they are exposed to the elimination of the benefit of the Good Payer Bonus.
That is, they have to repay the amount of the bond that was granted to them plus legal interest.
In this sense, in order not to lose the benefit, it is recommended that prepayments be made five years after the mortgage loan began to be paid.
