New member of the Judicial Council affirms that he will not submit to political interference

Enrique Kronawetter, after being sworn in as the main representative of the Executive Power, before the Council of the Magistracy, expressed that he comes from the academic field and the exercise of the profession, even though he spent some time in public office.

“I am returning with the personal mission that the suitability for entry into public service is met,” he said.

He argued that the members of the Council of the Magistracy must assume their positions with great commitment to contribute to the country. In order to do so, project changes to the Judiciary.

“Political influence exists in all areas of public management. I consider that the humblest contribution that I can make is that values ​​prevail over any political interference. The relationship I have with the president goes back to when he was president of Congress. He gave me the confidence to work on the reform processes. I worked with Deputy Rocío Vallejo. I am going to request the suspension of my affiliation to the PLRA to be able to hold the position, ”she sentenced.
