New measures are decreed for the entry of travelers to Panama

Travelers who intend to enter Panama, either by air, sea or land, must have the complete vaccination schedule against the SARS-CoV-2 virus, according to the national vaccination program approved by their country of origin or provenance. .

In accordance with the provisions of Executive Decree No.17, published on the afternoon of this Wednesday, February 16 in the Official Gazette, travelers must have at least two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and digitally record the certificate. that these were applied, or physically present the vaccination card at the port of entry to the country.

According to the document, which bears the signature of the President of the Republic Laurentino Cortizo, passengers who are not vaccinated or do not have at least two doses, must present a negative PCR or antigen test of up to 72 hours of validity or otherwise must have it done when you enter Panamanian soil.
