The National Charity Lottery (LNB) will have new modalities of lottery games among those products called “Lotto” and “Pega 3”, whose draws will be on Tuesdays and Saturdays, so that the traditional sale of chances and tickets will continue to be carried out regularly .
The Board of Directors of the LNB authorized the General Director to sign an addendum to contract No. 2013(9)08 of March 13, 2013 between the National Charity Lottery and the company Scientific Games LLC., for the design of these new games.
The current ticket takers will be the exclusive sellers of the new products, for which they will use a wireless electronic device (Handheld) that will issue the tickets. The wallet will not have to pay for the use of this electronic device or for its connection.
The commercialization of “Lotto” and “Pega 3” will in no way supplant or affect the sale of the traditional lottery of chances and tickets.Currently, ticket holders earn profits from the sales of chances and tickets from the weekly draws on Wednesdays and Sundays , and the monthly draw (last Friday of each month) of the Gordito del Zodiac.
With the new products, ticket sellers will additionally sell tickets for the draws on Tuesdays and Saturdays, thus obtaining more economic income.
The Government Innovation Authority (AIG) will be in charge of the implementation of the two new products of the National Charitable Lottery, as well as the dissemination and corresponding training for all participants, especially the ticket seller, since they are the force of sale of this institution.
