The administration of Virginia Reginato (UDI) in the Municipality of Viña del Mar adds a new legal action, after the current mayor, Macarena Ripamonti (RD) filed a complaint for the crime of tax fraud.
The case also points to the former manager of the Municipal Corporation and former municipal administrator, Claudio Boisier, and the former director of Education -current seremi- Patricia Colarte.

The complaint is related to the large compensation that those mentioned received during the Reginato administration, despite having resigned from their positions.
According to the current municipal mandate, these settlements would be $150 million, which clearly should not have been paid.
The legal action is carried out by the former prosecutor and lawyer, Carlos Gajardo, who expressed that it would be “three former directors of the Corporation for millionaire settlements that were extended in their favor, which were definitively self-awarded, without the legal requirements being met.”
According to the lawyer, there was a fraud in the entity that administers the municipal Education and Health of the garden city “in approximately 150 million pesos, money that we believe should not have been paid and constitutes a device to defraud the Corporation.”
“The people who dismantled our city have to answer for their actions,” said the mayor, Macarena Ripamonti.
