A flight with 237 Venezuelans on board, among them, seven children who remained retained by the United States government, arrived this Friday at Simón Bolívar International Airport, in Maiquetía, La Guaira state.
The Sectorial Vice President of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, received flight 51 of the Plan Vuelta a la Patria.
“They returned to the homeland, love, life, hope (…) we are sharing a moment of happiness with their parents. We will continue, brother President has committed to bring everyone back.”
He recalled that the Venezuelan government began claiming the girl Maikelys Espinoza. Then the list rose to 34, however, that list increases every day because every time a new plane comes the parents report that in US territory their children remained.
On July 18, seven children arrived, from this group of minors, who were claimed by the Venezuelan authorities.
“Last week we were very happy with the arrival of the 7 children,” said the Minister of Popular Power for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, who explained that this is part of the agreements reached directly between the government of President Nicolás Maduro with the United States government.
For her part, the president of the Great Mission Return to the Homeland, Camila Fabri, reiterated that Venezuela will continue to fight to bring all the missing children back.
“Today we are witnessing seven new miracles, because today a new life begins for them while with their moms. They were unfairly separated from their parents there in the United States,” he said.
Coordinations for new flights
On the other hand, the Sectorial Vice President of Policy, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, reported that the coordination with the Bolivia government is progressed to manage the rescue of Venezuelan migrants found in Chile and Peru.
“Our aircraft cannot enter Chile and Peru, then, they have to go to Bolivia and if everything goes as we hope, next week we could be making the first flight to Bolivia,” said Minister Cabello.
He said that, in the case of Mexico, the efforts “work perfectly; they tell us that they will send to 320 and 320 arrive (…) when there is the support of a government, work is much easier.”
