The Public Ministry continued with the presentation of documentary evidence against those prosecuted for the US$3.5 million bribes distributed by the Brazilian Aeronautical Company (Embraer) to benefit as a supplier of eight Super Tucano aircraft.
Prosecutor Isis de la Cruz, from the Specialized Prosecution Office for Administrative Corruption (Pepca), said that yesterday it was her turn to present the legal cooperation of Brazil, the United States and Panama.
“This cooperation links each of the defendants with punishable acts,” said the representative of the Public Ministry.
He explained that in the next hearing to be held in March, the court will decide what the fate of this evidence is, which he said he hopes will be admitted for complying with all the principles established by the rule.
