This Monday the test route for one of the new electric buses (brought from Santiago) was carried out in Valparaíso after the announcement of a new tender for the major public transport system. However, the machinery was trapped on Cerro Concepción.
At the time of the incident, the authorities present had to occupy a hoistway to measure whether the bus could continue on its way. The event occurred in a place where collective locomotion of this type has never traveled through the place.
The test corresponds to an improvement in public transport in the port city, which was announced by government authorities, as well as the regional governor of Valparaíso, Rodrigo Mundakaand the mayor of the commune, George Sharp.

The new tender for the major public transport system brings electronic payment of the fare, improvement in frequencies, added to the time extension, added to the arrival of about 2,100 buses between now and 2025.
