A new Earthquake Receivable shook Santiago de Cuba on Tuesday night, although so far no damage had been reported.
The telluric movement took place at 10:25 pm (local time). Its magnitude was 3.0 and the depth of its epicenter was 14 kilometers, according to the registration of the National Seismological Research Center (Cenais).
The OFFICIAL NOTE notifies reports of perceptibility of the city of Santiago, to the south of which the earthquake occurred.
None of the offices refers to the existence of human or material damage as a consequence of the tremor, something that could be related to its low magnitude.

Days agoDenis reported that during the first half of this year a total of 3623 low intensity earthquakes were recorded in Cuba, of which ten were noticeable.
Of the total telluric movements, 3270 originated within the Cuban territory, although none exceeded 4.0 degrees of magnitude on the Richter scale.
The area with the greatest activity was that of Pilón-Chivirico, in the south of the Cuban East, where the epicenter of two strong earthquakes of magnitude 6 and 6.7 degrees on November 10 was recorded.
These earthquakes, together with Another 6.1 degrees To the south of the Santiago municipality of Guama, they generated thousands of replicas throughout the following months and made the year of the most seismic activity recorded on the island, with 12 806 registered telluric movements.
