New director of the DNP, César Ferrari, could not take office

Ferrari is Peruvian and has Italian nationality by blood kinship and Colombian by adoption. which legally would not allow him to occupy the direction of the entity. The latter is apparently a problem when it comes to assuming its role, since, According to Article 29 of Law 43 of 1993, people with Colombian nationality by adoption cannot hold this type of public office.

César Ferrari is a civil engineer from the Catholic University of Peru, a doctor in economics from Boston University, has studies in regional and urban planning at New York University, and additionally worked as a teacher at the Javeriana University.
