This will be the first hospital in Mexico City to join IMSS-Bienestar instead of passing to the capital’s Ministry of Health; The program seeks to federalize the health systems that each entity currently has.
“This hospital is going to be perhaps the best hospital in the entire city, not because my Health colleagues don’t work properly, but because it receives special attention from the Government of Mexico,” said Sheinbaum.
Zoé Robledo, general director of the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS), indicated that the certification of the operating rooms is still in process to certify that they are sterile and it will be from next week that surgeries can be performed.
The hospital represents an investment of 450 million pesos in infrastructure and 269 million for its equipment, in which 641 health workers will attend, including nurses, general practitioners and specialists, among others.
As Head of Government there is no more joy than saying: We comply.
