Intense rains, drop in temperature and frosts will mark, starting this Saturday (27), the next few days in southern Brazil with the arrival of a new cold front.
The forecast is from the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet). As the days go by, areas of the Southeast, Midwest and even the south of the Amazon region will also be affected. For this Saturday, the forecast indicates rain – which can occasionally be heavy – in Rio Grande do Sul.
Sunday
On Sunday (28), the concentration of rain in the country should be from the north of Rio Grande do Sul to Paraná.
“With the advance of the cold front towards the center-south of the country, the temperature will have a sharp drop in Rio Grande do Sul. On Sunday, there is a small chance of snow in the highest points of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina “, informed the Inmet.
Monday
On Monday (29), there will also be frost formation in Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina. In the mountains of Rio Grande do Sul, the minimum temperatures should vary between -4º degrees Celsius (C) and 2ºC. The cold air mass should also bring down temperatures in Mato Grosso do Sul, south and west of Mato Grosso, in Rondônia and south of Acre, in addition to the Southeast region until Tuesday (30).
