For CubaCoop, the objectives of the so-called peaceful demonstrations are clear: “regime change, the overthrow of the government and military intervention.”
The island has demonstrated with evidence the intentions and sources of financing of this subversive initiative, he underlined in reference to recent interventions by authorities to denounce the interventionist plans of the United States and its encouragement to violence and chaos.
Regarding the most recent destabilizing maneuver against the largest of the Antilles, the association enrolled in the last two decades in socio-economic cooperation projects with the Caribbean nation showed confidence in its failure and highlighted the position set by the president on Sunday Miguel Díaz-Canel.
“There are enough revolutionaries here to confront with intelligence, with respect and in defense of our Constitution, but also with energy and courage, any type of demonstration that seeks to destroy the Revolution,” said the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba at the closing of the II Plenary of the organization.
CubaCoop asserted that now more than ever it expresses its solidarity with the island’s people and recognizes their creative resistance and optimism, despite the enormous difficulties they face.
