New Aquilino Tejeira hospital in Penonomé is 50% complete

The deputy minister in charge of the Ministry of Health, José Roberto Villarreal, was at the provincial council of the province of Coclé and there he referred to the construction of the Aquilino Tejeira hospital in Penonomé and said that this important work is already 50% complete.
He stressed that the minister in charge, Iveth Berrio, went to the National Assembly to support a transfer of $18 million that will serve to make the final payment for this work.
He said that this hospital will offer first-line health services, will have between 4 to 5 operating rooms and will serve various specialties. “Obviously it is the right of the population of the province of Coclé and that is why we have come to reaffirm our support in terms of health,” he said.
The new Aquilino Tejeira hospital is located in Los Llanos de Coclé near the wind farm and is expected to be delivered before the end of the administration of President Laurentino Cortizo.
