Netflixentertainment service by Internetpresented the results of the Speed Index awards, a ranking that evaluates the speed of its platform among the different local and international operators to measure its performance in prime time, in which it recognizes WIN as the operator of telecommunications that offers the Fixed Internet fastest in Peru.
This index, which also recognizes the fixed Internet operator with fewer interruptions, better image quality and faster startup speed; has positioned the Peruvian Internet company, WIN, as the leading provider in the ranking of this streaming platform, with an average download of 3.6 megabits per second.
“For us, as a Peruvian company, it is very satisfying to know that the effort and teamwork continues to bear fruit. This recognition, together with the Ookla Speedtest award, encourages us to continue working to reach more places in the country with the Internet that Peruvians deserve”, said Víctor Jauregui, vice president of WIN.
It should be noted that the tests that were carried out for this test were done through subscribers at the national level. The use of encrypted formats allowed the platform to measure which Internet providers offered lower latency, better Netflix streaming quality during prime time, and equal or lower bandwidth when viewing a video on the platform.
“In recent years we have been able to demonstrate the quality of our 100% fiber optic service for the home. We know that family dynamics today need a symmetrical Internet of high quality and stability”Jauregui concluded.
