Nestlé Dominicana revolutionizes e-commerce with its alliance with BEES

Nestlé Dominicana revoluciona el comercio electrónico con su alianza con BEES

Nestlé Dominicana, a leader in the food and beverage industry, has announced its strategic alliance with the e-commerce platform BEES.

This collaboration leads to the launch of the “Nestlé Cerca de Ti” store on the platform, accelerating the digital transformation in retail channels such as grocery stores, warehouses and mini markets.

“Nestlé Near You” at BEES will provide a superior and personalized service experience, connecting customers nationwide with the network of Nestlé Authorized Distributors and providing access to the brand’s entire product catalog quickly and easily 24/7.

In addition to providing advanced order and delivery management in one place, it will support the country’s small and medium-sized merchants with a robust loyalty program that rewards their purchases with redeemable points.

Pablo Wiechers, President of Nestlé For the Latin Caribbean Region, he commented: “Since its launch in 2023, “Nestlé Cerca de Ti” facilitates online commerce with our distributors, and constant learning with our clients and consumers. With BEES we continue to increase the impact, as we take advantage of its market penetration and experience reaching more than 50,000 stores, consolidating the commercial evolution and digitalization of the traditional channel in the Dominican Republic.”

Osman Viloria, BEES Latin America Digital Transformation Director, said: “With this strategic alliance, both companies reaffirm their commitment to creating new growth opportunities and digital innovation for commerce throughout the region, providing solutions that adapt to the changing needs of their customers and contributing to the economic growth of each country.”

“The launch of “Nestlé Near You” in BEES “It revolutionizes the way consumers and customers have access to our brands, strengthening our proposal to bring nutrition, health and well-being to every corner of the world. And all this takes place in a highly secure environment provided by BEES, using the most advanced technologies for managing data and transactions in a safe and sustainable way. This advance marks a new era in Nestlé’s operations,” added Huáscar Beltré, Commercial Director & Transformation Leader at Nestlé Dominicana.

This is the evolution of the project “Nestlé Warehouse: Digital Ecosystem for the Traditional Channel”, which, in 2019, was the winner of the first call for the “Digital Productive Chain Program” of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs of the Dominican Republic, and began the digital integration route of the entire Nestlé supply chain up to grocery stores nationwide.

The application from BEES is available on both Google Play and AppStore. “Nestlé Cerca de Ti” is available on BEES from July 8th.
