Students who enter a degree course in person in 2026 and are regularly enrolled can, starting this Friday (20), register their CV and sign up to participate in the 2026 Degree Nesting Fund. The deadline ends on March 20th.
Pé-de-Meia Licenciaturas was created to encourage the entry, retention and training of new teachers, with the completion of degree courses.
For this edition, the Ministry of Education (MEC) will grant up to 12 thousand training scholarships for teaching to students on face-to-face degree courses selected based on pre-registration.
The monthly value of the benefit is R$1,050, limited to 48 installments until the end of the degree.
How to register
Students who meet program requirements must access the Freire Platformfrom the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes)with login from the Gov.br platform to register or update your CV.
Then, you need to fill out the agreement form and pre-register for the program.
Finally, those eligible must inform their enrollment in the public or private educational institution in which they were approved.
If you have not registered yet, the Individual Taxpayer Registry (CPF) can be used until this step is completed.
Candidates who are unable to complete the registration can participate in the following calls, which take place every month until December 2026.

Result
According to the selection noticewhich brings the rules of the Pe-de-Meia Licenciaturas 2026, the registration of the higher education student does not guarantee the granting of the scholarship.
Priority will be given to filling vacancies in the 2026 Undergraduate Nesting Fund for those candidates who entered undergraduate courses offered through the Unified Selection System (Sisu) by public higher education institutions in the country.
Confirmation will only be made after the publication of the final result, which must occur by the 20th of each month, starting in March 2026.
Scholarships
Financial support of R$1,050 per month will be paid by Capes directly to the selected students through a Caixa Econômica Federal account.
Of the total amount, R$700 per month can be withdrawn immediately by beneficiaries. The other R$350 of the monthly teaching incentive will be allocated to savings and accumulated during the regular course period.
The withdrawal is conditional on the scholarship holder entering as a teacher in a public education network, within five years after graduating from the degree.
Payment of scholarships will be made by the fifth business day of the month following the scholarship holder’s registration by the educational institution in the Capes system.
Who can apply
Pé-de-Meia Licenciaturas aims to attract students who achieved high performance in the National Teaching Exam (Enem).
To apply for selection, students must have:
- obtained a score equal to or greater than 650 points in Enem. The grade corresponding to the simple average of the grades obtained in the four areas of knowledge and in the exam writing;
- entered and is regularly enrolled in a face-to-face degree course through one of the federal programs, SiSu; the University for All Program (Prouni); or the Student Financing Fund (Fies), in that order of priority.

To maintain the scholarship and access savings, the selected student must:
- complete the required number of credits for each period.
- each semester, obtain approval in the subjects enrolled;
- after completing the degree, enter a public education network within five years.
