Nequi, the digital financial platform that has gained popularity in Colombia for its ease of use and focus on financial inclusion, is facing technical problems that have left many of its users stranded.

In the last few hours, thousands of Colombians were affected by failures in the application that prevented key banking operations such as transfers, balance inquiries and bill payments. However, towards the afternoon hours of this Monday the service was restored.
Through X, Nequi users expressed their frustration at not being able to make transactions. Many reported that they could not send or receive money, causing great discomfort among those who use the platform to manage their daily finances.

These comments reflect the discontent of customers, who have mostly used Nequi to facilitate their online payments, recharges and transfers, making it a key tool in their daily lives.

Alternatives while problems are resolved
In response to complaints, Nequi explained that, in case the platform is not 100% available, users can withdraw money at banking correspondents and ATMs. Bancolombia.
«We are aware that our operation and availability are essential so that people can move money in their daily lives. For this reason, we have an alternative mechanism when Nequi is not 100% available with all its digital services,” the company said in an official statement.
