On the night of this Thursday the 13th, two people entered “violently” to a house in North Neptunia and they shot several times at the people who were thereamong them one 9-year-old girl who received three bullet woundsreported from the Canelones Police Headquarters.
The chief spokesman, Alejandro Ferreyra, assured The Observer that the girl is in a delicate state of health. He suffered a fracture of the femur – like the man – and a shot “at the level of the pelvis”. The victims do not share a last name, but it is not ruled out that there is some relationship.
In addition to the girl, it was injured a 31-year-old man who was with her and that has a history for a crime of robbery. Both were transferred to different health centers.
Ferreyra pointed out that the case is being investigated as a settling accounts between drug traffickers and noted that “It is the third or fourth time that they attack” that house.
In this way, he recalled that there were “several police interventions” at the scene and that during a raid carried out “long ago” the Police Homicide Department seized three thousand doses of drugs and then, in another procedure, another 500 doses.
The authorities study it as attempted murder. The prosecutor Eliana Travers and staff from the Homicide division of the Ministry of the Interior are working on the case.
