During a press conference, held at the headquarters of propepCabrera said that this committee will be constituted, from the date, by communication professionals and communicators Mrs. Consuelo Despradel, Roberto CavadaJosé Laluz, Luisín Mejía Oviedo, Iluminada Muñoz, Don Michel Hazim and the director of Z101, José Luis Mendoza.
He specified that they will be able to exercise their functions with total freedom, observing and recommending everything they deem pertinent, to strengthen the openness and transparency of the bidding processes that are carried out in propep.
He also announced that his representation on the Purchasing Committee of propep will be delegated to Mr. Fausto Ruiz (Don Fausto), former deputy and former mayor of the municipality of La Vega,

Ethics and Transparency
Minister Cabrera stated that for two years at Propeep has exercised its management with strict adherence to the Constitution and the laws that govern the national legal system, attached to the ethical and transparency standards required by the good practices of the Public Administration, requirements permanently demanded by our president Luis Abinader”.
He explained that during his two years at the head of Propeep, there has been 290 bidding processes, for an amount of 2.7 billion pesos, in which 2,320 companies participated, and carried out observing full compliance of Law 340-06 on Public Procurement and Contracting, passing through the established oversight and control bodies, including the Comptroller General of the Republic, in such a way that in none of these processes were challenges presented by the bidders.
“This excellent, efficient, responsible, and totally transparent performance is evidenced in the indicators accumulated by Propeep, such as averages of 100% in Budget Management; 99% in compliance with Law 300-04, on Access to Public Information; 88% in Government Transparency; 100 percent in Public Procurement, and recently another 100% in compliance with accounting standards (Sisanoc), through a certificate issued by Government Accounting.
“However, as a public official committed to seeking excellence and as a way to continue contributing to the construction of a culture of transparency in the management of public funds, we have decided to establish the aforementioned commission, for greater transparency in future bidding processes. “, accurate.
