Rodrigo Buongermini, former councilman of Asunción, affirmed that it is not the first time that a Colorado mayor travels without warning. Since about a year ago, César Ojeda, interim mayor, who replaced Rodríguez when he resigned to seek re-election, also traveled abroad without notifying the Municipal Board.
“It’s not the first time. César Ojeda, at the time, made a trip where he did not carry out the corresponding administrative procedure. He should have communicated to the Municipal Board, the Board is aware that the board, by charter must replace him during the period of absence and the vice president of the board assumes the presidency of the Board. This communication must exist, it must be argued and the destination and the reason must be communicated. whether for management reasons, or a personal, health or family issue, you must necessarily communicate, ”he informed.
He affirmed that the Odesur Games will find a city with too many pending in terms of infrastructure and order, in addition to a headless municipality. He argued that in this particular case, there may be two possibilities, either the Board has not been notified, or the Board is not communicating with the public.
