The director of the National Institute for Women (Inamu), Nellys Herrera, referred to the training process for women who will receive pepper spray as a defense measure against complaints of sexual abuse and violence.

She stressed that a national gender training system is being activated, which can train all justice operators, first, by understanding something as basic as what the different types of violence are.

He stated that women are not being murdered on street corners, they are being murdered in their own homes, and that should draw our attention permanently.
