Hours earlier, in the morning, Heidinger received his parliamentary credentials in a ceremony led by the National Elections Jury (JNE). According to article 25 of the Regulations of Congress, since she is the candidate for Congress with the most photos after Díaz in her region, she is entitled to the seat.

Heidinger, 49, is a representative from the Pasco constituency. In the last general elections, his candidacy reached 1,324 votes, while his predecessor now obtained 4,195 votes.
According to the Registry of Political Organizations (ROP), Heidinger has, since mid-2018, been a member of the Alliance for Progress (APP).
