Only five signatures are missing the congresswoman. Juan José Santiváñez. According to the Internal Regulations of Parliament, the legislator of the Popular Democratic Block needs 33 signatures to carry out his order, but so far he still fails to gather them.
Until yesterday the parliamentarian had 28 signatures of legislators from seven of the 13 benches and not grouped: together for Peru (6), Popular Democratic Block (5), Popular Renewal (5), Socialist Bank (4), Avanza country (2 ), Honor and Democracy (1), Podemos (1) and 4 not grouped.
No Congressman of Popular Force, Alliance for Progress, Free Peru, Magisterial Block, Popular Action and Somos Peru has supported the motion that promotes walls against Santiváñez for its inability to implement an effective policy against citizen insecurity.
In Popular Force they indicated that there are some legislators in favor of challenging Santiváñez knowing that the procedure, they said, would not pass from that section; In other words, Dina Boluarte’s favorite minister would not opt in censorship. Another sector, on the other hand, is against supporting the motion.
The only certain thing is that, taking advantage of the parliamentary recess, the orange bloc does not set a position arguing that most of its members are in provinces. This newspaper also tried to communicate with the APP spokesperson, Alejandro Soto, but there was no answer. In the Executive, meanwhile, Premier Gustavo Adrianzén says that “Santiváñez is working every day.” The problem is that we don’t know what.
