HOLY SUNDAY.– Community and religious organizations of Greater Santo Domingo they reported that government officials They refuse to receive them and agree on solutions to the main problems of their demarcationseven though they have deposited communications for years in different state institutionsincluding the Presidency of the Republic.
The complaint was filed by the Coordinator of Don Bosco Neighborhood Organizations (Codonbosco)the Network of Organizations of the 27 de Febrero neighborhoodhe Mary Help of Christians Clubthe Association of Housewives Committees of the National District and Greater Santo Domingo (Acadisando)he Education Center for Peace, Tolerance and Development (Cepatode)he Community Development Committee February 27 (Codecofe), neighborhood meetings and others community fronts.
They turn deaf
The entities assure that they have sent requests to the ministries of Education, Sports, Culture, Housing, Public Health, Interior and Police, Public Worksto the National Institute of Drinking Water and Sewage (CAASD)to the National Council for the Aging (Conape) and to National Health Serviceabout different evils that affect neighborhoods of the National District and the Santo Domingo provincewithout obtaining answers or work meetings.

As they explain, they delivered a document to the General Secretary of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), Carolina Mejíathe past 5th of this monthsigned by parish priest Francisco Antonio Castillo and community leaders Alexis Rafael Peña, Barbina Herrera Peña, Ángel Molina, José Mieses, Fiordaliza Guzmán, Ynocencio Reyes, Felicita Dismehy, Danny Feliz, Elin Cuevas and Arsenio Pineda.
Education without response
The organizations report that they have more than 25 years requesting the Ministry of Education the construction of a polytechnic in the 27 de Febrero neighborhoodas well as the conversion of the Juan Pablo Duarte and San Gabriel high schoolsto train thousands of young people and face the crime and drug addiction.
sports area
In the sports area, they assure that they have requested on several occasions the Minister Kelvin Cruz a meeting to conclude the Mary Help of Christians Clubabandoned for years, in addition to roofing the Rosa Duarte, Villa Fontana and Villa María clubswithout getting a response.
Culture
In culture, they affirm that they sent four communications to the Minister Roberto Ángel Salcedo for the construction of a House of Culture in the Third Circumscription of the National Districtbut that “does not face the citizens”.
Housing, water and health
They claim that they have made requests to former Minister of Housing Carlos Bonilla and to the current Ito Bisonó for the construction of decent two and three level homes in deprived neighborhoods, without being heard.
They also blamed director of the CAASD, Felipe Suberví Hernández (Fellito)of not receiving the community members, despite constant requests.
They propose a health unit
The aforementioned social entities propose the creation of Mental Health, Geriatric, Diabetic Foot units and a chapelno response from Ministry of Public Health nor of National Health Service.
Older adults, security and infrastructure
They reveal that thousands of elderly of Mary Help of Christians They have been waiting for years for Day Home and solidarity pensions.
