Nearly 1,500 flights canceled in the US due to winter storm

A winter storm spreads in the United States (USA) which has caused almost 1,500 flights to be canceled this Wednesday.

Recent reports published on FlightAware indicate that a total of 1,469 flights inside and outside the US had been canceled by 3:00 pm.

The figures indicate that the highest number of cancellations is at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport with 198 canceled flights, followed by Denver International Airport and Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport.
