After the regular NBA basketball season ended, the keys for the Play In Tournament and the playoff games were already set.
In the Eastern Conference, the Cleveland Cavaliers (4) face the New York Knicks (5) and the Philadelphia 76ers (3) face the Brooklyn Nets (6) while the Boston Celtics (2) await the winner of the Play In game between Miami (7) and Atlanta (8), the loser of that game would face the winner of the key between Toronto (9) and Chicago (19) to take out the number 1 seed rival, Milwaukee Bucks.
In the Western Conference, the Phoenix Suns (4) face the Los Angeles Clippers (5), while the Sacramento Kings (3) face the Golden State Warriors (6), the Memphis Grizzlies (2) await the winner of the Play In game between the Los Angeles Lakers (7) and Minnesota Timberwolves (8), while the loser of that game will face the winner of the key between the New Orleans Pelicans (9) and Oklahoma City Thunder (10) to draw to the rival of the Denver Nuggets (1).
The Play In Games will be played April 11-14, with the first round of the playoffs beginning April 15, the conference semifinals beginning May 1, the conference finals scheduled to begin May 16, and the NBA Finals kick off June 1.
