They have never gone to an NBA final, but this season the Denver Nuggets are very close to achieving it, Nikola Jokic scored 32 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and distributed 12 assists, achieving another triple double and his partner added Jamal Murray 26 points for Denver defeated the Phoenix Suns 125-100 and advanced to the Western Conference finals, winning the series 4 games to 2.
The Nuggets scored 44 points in the first quarter and 37 in the second to open a 30-point lead at halftime 81-51 against the Suns who were never in the game and were overwhelmed by Denver.
Now they await the winner of the series between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors.
