The Brazilian Navy will open next Tuesday (25) a selection process for the Voluntary Military Service (SMV) of temporary officers. To compete for the 549 vacancies distributed in the areas of health, technique, teaching and engineering, the interested party will have to choose between one of the nine naval districts (DN) and the area of interest.
To participate, the candidate must have completed higher education in the respective area of the vacancy for which they wish to apply. In addition, you must be between 18 and 41 years old on the date of incorporation.
Enrollment
The Navy’s temporary selection process for volunteer soldiers will receive applications from October 25th to November 8th, via the internet. During this period, interested parties must enter the site www.ingressonamarinha.mar.mil.br, click on Voluntary Military Service, choose the Naval District for which you wish to apply, access the link of your registration and the respective Call Notice. To confirm, in addition to filling out the application form, the candidate must pay a fee of R$140, which can be paid until November 9th.
Selection
The SMV Marinha 2023 selection process will consist of several selection stages, with tests scheduled for 2023. The written tests are scheduled for February 5, 2023, with a duration of three hours. Candidates will answer 50 questions, being 25 Portuguese and 25 Military-Naval Training. In order to be approved, it is necessary to obtain 50% of success in the evaluation. In addition, the RM2 temporary officer contest, from the Navy SMV, will have other stages, such as proof of titles, verification of biographical data, documentary verification, health inspection and physical fitness test.
Once approved in all stages, candidates will go through the adaptation stage, whose estimated period is 11 weeks. Opportunities are for different cities, the majority being in Rio de Janeiro, depending on the intended Naval District.
Due date
The contractor’s starting salary, which starts at the midshipman’s rank, is R$10,992.04. After the period, he will move to the rank of second lieutenant, staying for another six months receiving remuneration of R$ 11,309.90.
After one year, the soldier will occupy the post of first lieutenant, whose remuneration is R$12,532.40. If he reaches the seventh year, he becomes captain-lieutenant, earning R$14,706.71. The contracts will be temporary, with annual renewal, for a maximum period of eight years.
