A group of naturalized Panamanians, spouses and children of foreigners residing in the district of Panama will participate starting this Wednesday, April 20, in the process of collecting signatures in the Electoral Court, to achieve the revocation of the mandate of the mayor of the capital, José Luis Fabrega.
According to Mr. Rafael Rodríguez, representative of the Nuevo Amanecer movement, they will go to the main headquarters of the Electoral Court starting at 8:30 in the morning to affix their signatures as a sign of rejection of Mayor José Luis Fábrega’s actions as head of the capital commune.
With a brief statement, Rodríguez called on the more than 15,000 naturalized Panamanians and relatives of foreigners who live in the district of Panama to join the movement and help reach the 198,920 signatures necessary to revoke the mayor’s mandate. of Panama, Jose Luis Fabrega.
The request to initiate the process of recalling the mandate of the mayor of the capital, José Luis Fábrega, was presented to the authorities of the Electoral Court by the lawyer Roberto Ruíz Díaz.
After training the activists who will participate in the process, the collection of signatures will begin this Wednesday, April 20, for a period of 120 days, where citizens will be able to access the website of the Electoral Tribunal, go to the offices of the institution, use the multiservice kiosks of the entity, through mobile applications in stationary positions to sign in favor of the revocation of the mandate of the Mayor of Panama.
