Nationalist councilors angry with EL ECO

Nationalist councilors angry with EL ECO

On Tuesday, January 31, at the Colonia Departmental Board, the National Party bench expressed great anger with EL ECO.

The nationalist intern was agitated at the Legislative headquarters: for more than an hour of the bench meeting the whites used her to insult EL ECO for the note published last week about the hiring of the company “Digital Video Producciones SRL” of Francisco Maciel to disseminate advertising and journalistically to the mayor.

Maciel is the brother of the General Secretary of the Colonia Departmental Board and president of the Colonia National Party, and husband of the director of Social Action of the Municipality. They were very angry with the note (see last edition of EL ECO), but they were wrong with the award of its authorship: It was not made by the journalist Gabriel Monteagudo, it is the responsibility of the Editorial Board of EL ECO.

They were very angry, but according to our sources, Mayor Carlos Moreira calmed them down and told them that the issue could be questionable, but that it is legally correct.

They dedicated an hour to this topic and to look for ways to “revenge”, this is the level that the councilors of the 904 manage on the bench.

From EL ECO we consider that, instead of ranting against this medium, the most correct thing would be to verify if the information we provide is correct.

It should also be known what was the offer of the other company that submitted to the tender under the name: “Bruno Rodríguez Martín Ademar”.
