The National Police has received a donation from the National Society of Industries (SNI) within the framework of the efforts of this union to support the development of activities of the troops of the order.
The donation consists of 800 mattresses that have been delivered to the Police, so that they reach different agencies nationwide.
Jesus Salazar Nishi, the president of the industrial union, explained the objective of the measure.
“With this contribution we recognize the important work of the PNP in safeguarding the safety of all Peruvians and the circumstances that they live on a day-to-day basis. From the SNI we want them to always have the support of the national industry for the best development of their activities”, stated Salazar.
The donation delivery ceremony was held at the SNI headquarters and was presided over by Eng. Jesús Salazar Nishi. It also had the participation of General Raúl Enrique Alfaro Alvarado, General Commander of the PNP.
The donation was channeled through the Women’s Committee of the Peruvian National Police, chaired by Mrs. Liliana Beraún de Álvarez.
For his part, the Commander General of the Peruvian National Police, Raúl Enrique Alfaro Alvarado, thanked the SNI for the important donation. “This valuable help will be sent to the different police headquarters in Lima and the other regions where it is most needed,” he said.
