National Roads will invest 23 billion pesos to improve the routes of Salta

The transformation of National Route 9/34 into a 26-kilometre highway is one of the most important works in the plan.

The transformation on a 26-kilometer highway of National Route 9/34in the section that goes from the access roundabout to Rosario de la Frontera to Yatasto, is one of the most important works of this plan.

The work consists of enlarging the current layout, which will go from two to four lanes in each direction of trafficand the construction of four bridges, interior platforms and exits with distributors.

Another important work of the plan is the paving of two sections of National Route 40one of which extends along
18 kilometers long, between the town of Molinos and Seclantás, in the heart of the Calchaquí Valleys.

The second section covers 15 kilometers between the intersection with Provincial Route 33, at the height of Payogasta, and the entrance
to the town of Palermo.

On the other hand, the works will advance with the construction of the doubling of the roadway and two new bridges parallel to National Route 9on the river Cowboys.

The plan funds They will also be used to complete the recovery and maintenance works on Mesh 431B, on National Route 34, in the section that goes between Garmendia and Rosario de la Frontera, and on Mesh 406 on National Routes 34 and 50, from the access to San Pedro de Jujuy to Pichanal and from Orán to Aguas Blancas, on the border with Bolivia.

On the other hand, works on National Routes 51 and 68 will begin in the coming weeks within the framework of a rehabilitation and maintenance work in the sections that extend from the General Martín de Güemes international airport to the town of Campo Quijano, and from Talampaya to Río Ancho.
