Rádio Nacional presents, this Sunday (30), at 10pm, a special about the singer Carlinhos Brown. The production brings back classics by the Bahian artist, who has influenced Brazilian Popular Music. 
Multi-artist, Carlinhos Brown is recognized for promoting, throughout his career, several rhythmic revitalizations, with emphasis on connections with ancestral African roots. In his career, he directly participated in the consolidation of musical genres such as axé and samba-reggae.
Furthermore, he worked with Brazilian performers who are references in national music, such as Sérgio Mendes, Daniela Mercury, Margareth Menezes, Caetano Veloso, Djavan and Gal Costa.
In 2002, alongside Marisa Monte and Arnaldo Antunes, he formed the Tribalistas project, which achieved public and critical success with hits such as I already know how to date and Old Childhood.
The repertoire broadcast during the National Radio Sunday Special includes compositions by Carlinhos Brown recorded by him and other artists: Fragrant Daisy (Carlinhos Brown/Cícero Menezes), Magalenha (Carlinhos Brown), A Brazilian (Carlinhos Brown/Hebert Viana), THE Girlfriend (Carlinhos Brown), The Little Fishes (Tribalists/Carminho), Denhas Hands (Carlinhos Brown), among others.
